We had a blast with H + H + A this weekend. H is one of my very best friends from high school and she and her husband met Jed at IU. I’ve heard stories about Jed guest playing on their indoor soccer team until he was discovered by another team and kicked out. Apparently, he was “over qualified” for the rec league. Who knew?
After looking through the 500+ pictures we took this weekend, I’m amazed at how quickly the kids are growing up. It’s a blessing to be a mama at the same time as my dear friends (Baby Ball, hurry up!).
A and Joah had a blast sharing toys, blowing bubbles, taking baths, and feeding the ducks at the park.
It was difficult to capture them both looking the same direction because they were so intent on playing and trying to stand up!
Joah took his first few steps while the Chaseys were here.
Analiese cheered him on and “helped” him by holding his hand.
We visited the Naval Academy, strolled around Annapolis, picked pumpkins, witnessed a heart-breaking DCU loss, and admired the new MLK Jr. memorial.
We are so grateful for lifelong friends and feel so blessed that the Chaseys made the trip out to see us. And, for the record, the girls won the Euchre tournament.

yeah we did.
you picked the same bath photo i would have picked. it is the ONLY one out of many where you see both of their faces! they were so busy!
